Company Profile

Arbutus Grinders Ltd. has been in business at our current location since the early 70's. Established by Guy Boileau, the company is best known for its unique hand tool, the Steel Stud Crimper. The tool was initially developed in the late sixties by Guy in conjunction with, and for use by drywall contractors. Arbutus Grinders secured US and Canadian patents for the Steel Stud Crimper in 1968 as production increased and the word spread throughout the drywall industry.

Over the years, Arbutus Grinders has continually improved its product, through the use of creative design and new manufacturing processes. It has gained a reputation for a superior quality tool which is warranted against defects and has unparalleled durability. One satisfied customers have even visited us years after their initial purchase to tell us how our tool has paid for their home. We pride ourselves in our product and ensure that all our customers will be able to use them for years.

Currently, Arbutus Grinders Ltd. produces thousands of Steel Stud Crimpers which are sold to distributors all over the world.
